– Afro Insight News

Over the past five years, China’s 14th Five-Year Plan has redefined what coordinated economic strategy can achieve.

Despite global volatility, China’s GDP is on track to expand by more than 35 trillion yuan (≈ $4.9 trillion) contributing nearly 30% of global growth annually.

The plan prioritized innovation, digital transformation, and green developments from pioneering the world’s first 4th-generation nuclear power plant to completing the Tiangong space station and leading in AI industrialization worth 578.7 billion yuan.

It also strengthened global partnerships through the Belt and Road Initiative and participation in frameworks like RCEP, reflecting a vision of open, inclusive growth.

As the country prepares for its 15th Five-Year Plan, the results underscore a critical lesson for all economies: long-term planning and innovation are key to resilience.
