In a Facebook Post Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed wrote that he met and discussed with Germany Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on strengthening Ethio-Germany partnership.
The Ethiopia Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said that the Foreign minister was welcomed by State Minister of Foreign Affairs Hadera Abera at the time the two countries celebrate 120 years old diplomatic ties.
According to the ministry’s statement, ambassador Hadera commended Germany’s support for 2025-27 Cooperation Framework, reforms, green growth and regional peace. The statement also qouted ambassador Hadera as saying the visit would focus on renewable energy, infrastructure, agriculture and agro-processing and industry sectors.
